Lyon’s Den, Northshore Little League team up for the holidays

Santa Plays Ball will take place from 1-4 p.m. Dec. 12 at The Lyon’s Den Coffee Shoppe, 10415 Beardslee Blvd., Bothell.

There will be:

• Walk-in sign-ups for Northshore Little League’s 2010 youth baseball and softball season. Boys and girls ages 5-16 are eligible to play baseball, T-ball or girls softball. Early registration

deadline is Dec. 15.

• Food collection for Hopelink’s Holiday Season food drive.

• The Lyon’s Den and Northshore Little will also host “Photos with Santa” — parents bring your cameras and get your kids’ pictures taken with Santa.

• The Lyon’s Den will donate 20 percent of all sales during the event to Northshore Little League’s scholarship fund, helping families during this difficult economic time.
