Bothell-area parents can now look closer to home for a way to help their children succeed in school as a new Huntington Learning Center has opened in Bothell.

The new Bothell center is located in Canyon Park Place on 228th Street Southeast and Bothell-Everett Highway. The new Huntington Learning Center is offering free academic evaluations for all enrolling students during the grand-opening celebration through the end of January.

Huntington Learning Center of Bothell will specialize in maximizing students’ academic potential. The center will offer instruction in reading, writing, math, spelling, phonics, study skills, state testing prep and one-to-one SAT and ACT exam prep. All instruction begins with a thorough diagnostic test to pinpoint a student’s exact academic needs. Based on the test results, an individualized learning program is prescribed. Frequent conferences with parents and ongoing motivation for students are an important part of Huntington’s method, operator Andrew Bradshaw said.

Parents who would like additional information, or who are concerned about a specific aspect of their child’s academic performance, can contact Bradshaw at (425) 368-2300 or (800)-CAN LEARN.
