The following is a release from the Washington State Department of Transportation:
Drivers heading to vacation destinations on Interstate 405 between Southeast 8th Street in Bellevue and State Route 522 in Bothell should prepare for possible delays Friday evening, Sept. 4, through Sunday morning, Sept. 6.
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close several lanes and ramps on I-405 between Northeast 124th Street in Kirkland and State Route 522 in Bothell. These closures are needed to complete striping work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.
Lane closures:
- Friday, Sept. 4, to the morning of Saturday, Sept. 5
o Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street and SR 522 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 5, to the morning of Sunday, Sept. 6
o Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 6th Street and SR 520 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Ramp closures:
- Friday, Sept. 4, to the morning of Saturday, Sept. 5
o The Northeast 160th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
o The northbound I-405 ramp to SR 522 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 5, to the morning of Sunday, Sept. 6
o The Southeast Eighth Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from midnight to 7 a.m.
