Needing to win twice after an opening-round 5-2 loss to Northern California, the Northshore/North Bothell/Woodinville All-Stars junior softball team fell in a loser-out nightcap, again to Nor Cal, 13-7 on Sunday night to get eliminated from the event.

In the morning game, the Washington state champs outslugged Waialua, Hawaii in a wild 17-14 win to keep their tournament hopes alive, only to fall short at 7:30 that evening and ending the dream of representing the West region at the Junior League Softball World Series in Kirkland.
