The North Urban Human Services Alliance will be presenting a workshop and panel discussion in conjunction with the Congregations for the Homeless, Hopelink, Cener for Human Services and Crisis Clinic on Sept. 19 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Northshore Fire Department in Kenmore.

The workshop is designed to inform people on how to help if they are approached by families or individuals in need, whether it be for a lack of food or homelessness.

The workshop focuses on ‘front line’ people, residents who are most likely to come into contact with people in need, including deli clerks, receptionists or human services workers.

The event is free and open to the public.
