Northbound I-405 reduced to one lane between Bothell and Lynnwood this weekend

The following is a release from the Washington State Department of Transportation:

Nighttime and early morning drivers traveling northbound on Interstate 405 between Bothell and Lynnwood should prepare for possible delays this weekend.

Starting Friday night, April 14, contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close a single lane of northbound I-405 to begin work to change lane striping between State Route 527 and I-5. Overnight Saturday, April 15, crews will reduce northbound I-405 to a single lane to complete the striping change. This work is to complete the final striping of the I-405 Northbound Peak-Use Shoulder Lane Project.

This construction activity will close the following lanes:

  • Friday, April 14, to the morning of Saturday, April 15 – One lane of northbound I-405 between SR 527 and I-5 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Saturday, April 15 to the morning of Sunday, April 16 – Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between SR 527 and I-5 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m.

This work is weather dependent and is subject to change.
