Northshore Education Association planning day of action on Tuesday

The Northshore Education Association (NSEA) is planning a day of action on Tuesday, June 20. NSEA members want to encourage the state Legislature to reject the Republican budget.

The NSEA is asking all members to wear their “We Educate Northshore” shirts or any other shirt or top that is red, to school for the day. At the end of the school day, the NSEA will hold informational picketing in three central locations in the district to share their message with the citizens of the Northshore School District (NSD).

Picketing will run from 3:30-5:30 p.m., and parents, students and administrators are invited to join the NSEA members. Our commitment to each other and our students is strong, so come and join us.

The locations are as follows:

  • Bothell: Canyon Park, at the intersection of 228th Street Southeast and Bothell Everett Highway (State Route 527);
  • Kenmore: at the intersection of Bothell Way Northeast (State Route 522) and 68th Avenue Northeast; and
  • Woodinville: at the corner of 131st Avenue Northeast and Northeast 175th Street, next to Woodinville Fields.
