The Northshore Fire Department will be hosting an open house from 9 a.m. to noon on June 14 at its headquarters fire station in downtown Kenmore.
The event will include a free pancake breakfast from 9-11 a.m., a health and safety fair and live firefighter demonstrations.
There will also be an area with activities for kids and an opportunity to tour the fire engine, aid car and rescue truck.
There will also be a side-by-side live burn sprinkler demonstration. The safety fair will include Bastyr University, Puget Sound Energy, Seattle-King County Health, King County Library and many more exhibitors with valuable health and safety information.
The fire station is located at 7220 NE 181st St. in Kenmore.
