Northshore Junior High School Science Olympiad teams placed first and second at the Washington State Science Olympiad competition. While two junior high teams advance to the national competition, state rules stipulate that representatives must be from two different schools.

Northshore Junior High School Science Olympiad teams placed first and second at the Washington State Science Olympiad competition. While two junior high teams advance to the national competition, state rules stipulate that representatives must be from two different schools.

Northshore Junior High School’s first-place team and Frontier Middle School’s team will represent Washington state at the National Science Olympiad Finals, May 17-23, in Menomonie, Wis.

Members of both Northhore Junior High School Science Olympiad teams include: Alan Tran, Amogh Pande, Amy Xu, Anna Weaver, Jeffrey Hablewitz, Johan Olsson, Jonah Austin, Lakshin Kumar, Megan van Meurs, Melissa Mitchell, Peter Lie, Pranathi Guddanti, Quinn Rector, Sebastian Duerr, Steven Zhang, Ashi Jain, Christopher Lee, Connor Lynch, Conor Bartol, Deepthi Chandra, Ellis Evans, Gloria Shen, Gloria Shi, Johnson Kuang, Lucia Leone, Margaret He, Ryan Nelson, Sammie Hong, Sandy Cheng and Steven Lu.
