The Innovation in Education Award will be presented annually to a Northshore School District educator who has been the recipient of Foundation funding and has demonstrated innovation in a way that makes a long-term impact on student learning within the District.

This inaugural Innovation in Education Award was given to Pat McCue from Bothell High School this month.

Pat McCue has been working as an automotive technology instructor for 11 years. He is an ASE advanced-level master technician and still maintains his Ford technician certifications. Pat has a long history of creating visionary, innovative, and most importantly, student-centered projects that grow his program and provide his students with the skills needed to compete in our ever-changing global economy.
