Northshore School District teachers walked out of class on Wednesday to protest inadequate state funding for public schools.

Northshore School District teachers walked out of class on Wednesday to protest inadequate state funding for public schools.

The protest forced the district to cancel school, as educators gathered at major intersections in Bothell and Kenmore.

The teachers were going to gather at Bothell Landing around noon and hold a rally.

The day of school will be made up at the end of the year.
