The Northshore Wranglers inclusion and recreation program has received a generous grant from the eBay Foundation (Global Impact Team) to begin a new fitness initiative in 2016.

The intent is to offer a holistic fitness program focusing on obesity prevention and improved fitness. Utilizing the existing facilities of the Northshore Health & Wellness Center, including an adaptive equipment fitness center, the “Get Fit” initiative delivers individualized program outcomes via a pre- and post-participation assessment process.

Planned program elements include weight conditioning, aerobics, Yoga, Zumba/Dance and nutrition. The instructor is Betsy Sanders, NFPT. Programming starts March 2 and will continue throughout 2016. The program is called Camp Movement 2.0.

This is a social and functional fitness program using specialized and adaptive training in a high-energy, team-building environment. The program will be offered from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning March 2, at the Health and Wellness Center, located at 10201 East Riverside Dr., Bothell.

The cost is $20 per month or two hours/mo DDA (payment to Northshore Wranglers Inclusion Program), $5 per class in form of check or class is accepted at class only.
