O’Neal is set for surgery on Thursday

Woodinville resident James O’Neal is scheduled to have surgery this Thursday morning at the University of Washington to remove the bulbous tumors on his face due to a genetic disorder known as neurofibromatosis.

He was the subject of a June 18 Reporter cover story. Bothell resident Katie Knopf helped raise funds for the surgery.
