The Northshore Education Foundation will hold its “Light a Fire for Learning” luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. May 5 at the Lynnwood Convention Center.
Bob Fowler, a Bothell resident and director of the 70th Regional Readiness Command’s Finance Office, led his staff to a prestigious U.S. Army Reserve Fiscal Year 2008 U.S. Army Reserve Command Financial Management Team Award. All members of the team — Wayne Severson, JoAnn H. Thomas, Connie Martin, Sandra Weegmann, Christina Preston, Richard Person and Janet Seckel — went to Atlanta, Ga., in March to receive the award. The award was presented to the group by the U.S. Army Reserve Command Financial Director Steven Farmer.
