PCC Natural Markets to open new store in Bothell

PCC Natural Markets (PCC), the nation's largest natural foods retail cooperative and Puget Sound’s premier organic and natural foods grocer, will open a new 25,000-square-foot store in Bothell at Canyon Park Shopping Center, located at 22621 Bothell Everett Highway.

PCC Natural Markets (PCC), the nation’s largest natural foods retail cooperative and Puget Sound’s premier organic and natural foods grocer, will open a new 25,000-square-foot store in Bothell at Canyon Park Shopping Center, located at 22621 Bothell Everett Highway.

The Bothell PCC will be the grocery retailer’s eleventh location in the greater Seattle metropolitan area.

When opened in 2016, PCC expects to employ approximately 130 full and part-time employees at the new store.

“We are delighted to announce that we will be bringing PCC’s best in class produce, our in-store made deli and prepared foods, and our wide variety of natural and organic grocery items – plus our excellent customer service – to shoppers in the Bothell, Mill Creek, and Woodinville communities,” said PCC CEO Cate Hardy. “This new store location, just south of the intersection of Interstate 405 and the Bothell-Everett Highway, will be a convenient location for existing and future PCC customers. We look forward to being part of this growing and thriving community.”

The same team of professionals involved in the opening of PCC’s most recent stores in the Seattle neighborhoods of Columbia City (summer 2015) and Green Lake Village (2014), Edmonds (2008) and Redmond (2006) will be tapped for the Bothell store. They include Seattle-based Velocipede Architects and Woodman Construction.

Canyon Park Shopping Center is owned and operated by Retail Opportunity Investments Corp. (ROIC).

“We are thrilled to be bringing PCC to our shopping center,” said ROIC CEO Stuart Tanz. “With its high quality, organic/natural offerings and established reputation in the Seattle market, PCC will serve as an excellent marquee tenant at our property and will become an integral part of the surrounding community. We look forward to building a long and successful relationship with PCC.”
