Assault

Police actually listed this incident as a disturbance and didn’t release many details. What reports did say was that a female citizen allegedly punched a police officer, apparently at the municipal courthouse. It wasn’t clear if the woman was in the building for a court case. She was arrested, charged with third-degree assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Reports said the officer suffered pain in his wrist.

Oct. 12

Residential burglary

An unknown suspect walked into an apparently unlocked garage in the 2300 block of 210th Street Southeast. The thief then left with a wallet, a laptop computer, a checkbook and credit cards. Total value of the stolen items was given as $1,200.

Domestic violence

A man, 40, was arrested, charged with fourth-degree assault and domestic violence after an incident at a Bothell residence. Listed as a girl, 17, and described as the suspect’s girlfriend, police say the victim was physically struck.

Theft

A cellphone valued at $250 was taken from an unidentified store in the 21000 block of State Route 527.

Residential burglary

Police say a burglar apparently entered a home in the 22000 block of Meridian Avenue South. Items taken from the home include earrings, tools, a laptop computer, a cell phone, camera and printer. Total value: $2,190.

Oct. 14

Attempted burglary

Persons unknown cut a padlock and forced open a gate at a business in the 6800 block of Northeast 175th Street. Nothing was taken, but the victim told police the suspect likely was after a boat or boat motor that has since been moved to a different location.

Oct. 10

Theft

Meat, wine and vitamins were among the items police say two men attempted to make off with from the Safeway store on Northeast Bothell Way. First detained by store security, the men were charged with shoplifting.

Vandalism

Persons unknown spray painted exterior walls and windows near a sixth-grade classroom at Moorland Hills Elementary School on 84th Avenue Northeast. Police reports did not put a dollar value on any damage done.

Oct. 8

Theft

Someone swiped an entire mailbox from a home in the 6200 block of Northeast 202nd Street. The victim said the box contained an outgoing check.
