Theft

The suspect, a white female, walked out of a store in the 20800 block of State Route 527 with a humidifier and other unknown merchandise. The value of the humidifier was given as $70.

Sept. 5

Theft

Police list the suspect as a male, 21. He may be behind the disappearance of a video-game system and games valued at $450. The incident took place at a home in the 18500 block of 103rd Avenue Northeast.

Sept. 4

Drug related

A woman, 39, was arrested and charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia. The arrest took place at a business in the 22600 block of SR 527.

Sept. 3

Residential burglary

Police say they found pry marks on the font door of a burglarized home in the 17300 block of Riverside Place. Two computers, a vacuum and some DVDs — total value about $4,350 — are all missing.

Sept. 1

Robbery

Two men, ages 35 and 28, were arrested, charged with second-degree robbery after allegedly trying to steal a skateboard from another man, 19. Police say one of the suspects punched the victim in the face during the robbery attempt. The incident took place near the intersection of Fitzgerald Road and 228th Street Southeast.

Aug. 25

Shots fired

Public reports don’t contain too many details, but said shots allegedly were fired during a party being held at a residence in the 21600 block of Ninth Avenue West. Police said witnesses reported hearing five or six shots and officers say they recovered an unspecified number of .40-caliber shell casings from the scene. No actual victim was listed, no one was injured and no arrests were reported.

Sept. 8

Vandalism

For whatever reason, someone spray painted the word “inch” on a house and street sign in the 6200 block of Northeast 153rd Street.

Sept. 7

Residential burglary

A neighbor reportedly caught a suspect in the act of attempting to break into a home in the 6500 block of Northeast Arrowhead. The suspect crawled through a second-story window and removed a screen to enter the home. The would-be thief may have been frightened off as nothing was reported missing.

Sept. 6

Assault

A man, age not released, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after allegedly elbowing another patron in the mouth at the DD Bar and Grill on Northeast 181st Street. According to police, the suspect knocked a crown out of the victim’s mouth. The suspect was arrested at his home following the incident.

Sept. 3

Residential burglary

Golf clubs were stolen from an unlocked residential garage in the 15000 block of 64th Avenue Northeast.
