Pedestrian robbed: A heavy-set man approximately 5-foot-7-inches tall and wearing a partial face mask and hooded sweatshirt robbed a female pedestrian of a $100 case and certain contents of her purse while threatening the woman with an implied knife. The incident occurred near Fourth Avenue Southeast.

July 21

Road-rage fight: Two men in their 20s got into a fight at the co-located campus of the University of Washington, Bothell and Cascadia Community College as a result of a road-rage incident that started on Interstate 405.

Vehicle stolen, then recovered: A resident living on Second Avenue West reported that an unknown suspect stole his 2003 Ford Escape from his home while he was sleeping. The vehicle was later recovered in the city of Lake Forest Park.

July 20

You don’t have jack: Two men fled in a red truck after attempting to steal a catalytic converter from a Geo Metro parked in a lot along State Route 527. The suspects left the scene as the vehicle’s owner arrived. They left behind a vehicle jack.

Gang graffiti: Police discovered graffiti on the corner of the Safeway building located along State Route 522. The markings read: “SUR 13” in blue letters, a known sign for a Latino gang.

Aug. 3

Double catch: Police discovered marijuana on a suspect stopped for driving with expired tabs along Northeast 182nd Street.

Aug. 2

Bite to stop: Police responded to a domestic violence incident at the Timbers apartment complex along 68th Avenue Northeast. The suspect allegedly bit the victim and took her cell phone to prevent her from calling 9-1-1. The man was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.

Marina prowler: Police booked a suspect into the King County Jail for allegedly prowling a vehicle at North Lake Marina.
