Commercial burglary
Thieves made off with $7,000 in cash, computers and alcohol after breaking into an unidentified restaurant in the 23000 block of State Route 527. The thieves entered through a broken window and also smashed an alarm key pad and fire alarm.

Theft vehicle
A car stereo, an amplifier, cash and some personal belongings were among the items stolen when someone broke into a car parked in a residential lot in the 12500 block of Northeast 185th Street. The thieves pried open a window to gain access to the vehicle.

Motor vehicle theft
A 1995 Honda Civic was taken from the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 1600 block of 228th Street Southeast. Valued at $1,000, the car was later recovered by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Police did not report where the car was found.

Motor vehicle theft
A red, 2004 GMC Denali was taken from a residential driveway in the 21800 block of Eighth Place West. Marysville Police recovered the car in their city.

Residential burglary
Thieves broke through a basement door to gain entry into a residence in the 19100 block of 104th Avenue Northeast. They made off with $300 in jewelry and a TV.

Theft from vehicle
A laptop computer, a video camera and some smaller items — total value about $2,000 — were taken from a car parked on the street in the 23900 block of State Route 527. Reports did not say how the suspect gained entry to the car.

Vandalism
Police said someone appeared to have kicked the front quarter panel of a car parked in a residential lot in the 7000 block of Northeast 182nd Street.
Commercial burglary
Police reports don’t say what, if anything, was taken, but someone forced their way into a storage area attached to the leasing office of an apartment complex in the 18000 block of 68th Avenue Northeast.

Residential burglary
The incident was reported on this date, but took place sometime after Dec. 21. Persons unknown used a hammer to pry open a garage door at a residence in the 19000 block of 73rd Avenue Northeast. Reports again did not say what, if anything, was stolen.
Dec. 31
Accident, DUI
A man, age not given, was arrested for DUI after he allegedly rear ended a Mercedes on Northeast Bothell Way near 68th Avenue.
The suspect allegedly hit the car a second time after pulling into a nearby parking lot to exchange information with the other driver.
