April 20

Commercial burglary

Persons unknown pried open a window and made their way into an unidentified restaurant in the 17000 block of Northeast Bothell Way. The thieves left with cash and a computer monitor. Total value of the missing loot: about $700.

Residential burglary

Persons unknown tried to open an unlocked sliding door to an apartment unit in a complex in the 20000 block of 16th Drive Southeast. The residents of the apartment were home and their presence presumably scared off the would-be intruders. No suspects were reported.

April 19

Theft from vehicle

At around 9 p.m., someone broke out the front passenger window of a car parked in a lot in the 20000 block of Bothell Everett Highway. The suspect stole a GPS unit valued at $300.

April 18

Car theft

A 1998 Toyota Camry was stolen from the parking lot of a business in the 200000 block of 17th Avenue Southeast. The vehicle was later recovered by Seattle police, but no arrests were made. Reports contained no word on the condition of the car.

Residential burglary

Police list the incident as a burglary, but what was taken was the license plate off a car, presumably parked in a garage. Reports say it’s unclear how the suspect or suspects gained access to the victim’s car.

Residential burglary

The victim told police he was just moving into a home in the 7200 block of Northeast 155th Street and wasn’t at the home when burglars kicked in a back door. They left with videos, video games, a TV, a stereo and other items valued at roughly $2,800.

April 21

Residential burglary

A number of tools, value not given in police reports, were taken when thieves broke into a residential garage in the 1800 block of 73rd Avenue Northeast.

April 20

Vandalism

A fan sitting through a baseball game at Inglemoor High got an unwelcome surprise upon returning to the car they left in the school parking lot. Police say the vehicle had been covered with a number of scratches. There were no suspects and the value of the damage was not given in police reports.

Car theft

A Nissan, make not given, disappeared from the Metro Park and Ride on Bothell Way Northeast. The car was stolen between 8:30 a.m. and approximately 5 p.m. Police did not report having any suspects.
