Theft

A woman, age not released, was arrested for attempting to shoplift about $100 worth of grocery items and clothing from a business in the 20000 block of State Route 527.

March 26

Hit and run

A white SUV was struck near the rear bumper while parked on the street in the 20000 block of State Route 527. Driven by a Caucasian woman, the suspect’s car was described as a 2001 Honda Civic. Officials so have failed to locate her.

Residential burglary

Tools, a suitcase and a table were the items reported missing after persons unknown broke into a home in the 10000 block of East Riverside Drive. Reports don’t say how the thief or thieves gained entry into the house.

Vehicle theft

Police said what the owner described as a homemade flatbed truck was taken from outside his business on Northeast 175th Street. The owner told police the truck had sat in the same spot “for years.” Value was not listed in police reports.

March 29

Theft from vehicle

Police reports don’t say the two incidents are related, but they were reported within about 15 minutes of each other outside Inglemoor High School. Officials say two cars had front windows smashed out and items taken from inside the vehicles, including a woman’s purse.
