Commercial burglary

Pieced together police reports stated only that the incident took place at a closed, public recreation area on Northeast 188th Street. The only pubic recreation on that street is, according to the city Web site, the Bothell Skate Park. Someone apparently broke into a building at the park, leaving with a coffee maker, microwave and medicine cabinet valued at $120. Police reports also mentioned “broken items, destroyed items” and an emptied fire extinguisher. The suspects apparently entered through a broken window.

Sept. 26

Hit and run

A 2000 Ford Focus was sideswiped by a hit-and-run driver when the first car was parked in the 21000 block of State Route 527. Police offered no further details.

Residential burglary

The suspect — described as a Hispanic male, about 23 — tried unsuccessfully to kick in the back door of a home in the 2000 block of 208th Place Southeast. The residents were home at the time of the incident and may have scared off the would-be thief, according to police reports.

Sept. 25

Residential burglary

Cash and a purse — total value about $950 — were missing after someone broke into a home in the 100 block of 240th Street Southwest. Police said the suspect entered the home through a pet door.

Sept. 23

Assault

A man, 20, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault, malicious mischief and underage possession of alcohol after what police described as a case of domestic violence that took place outside an unidentified business on Northeast 195th Circle. Allegedly punched by the suspect, the victim was listed as a woman, also 20.

Sept. 27

Residential burglary

According to police, someone used a ladder to reach an unlocked second-story window and gain access to a home in the 19600 block of 61st Place Northeast. Items stolen included electronics and jewelry valued at $3,450.

Commercial burglary

The suspect allegedly kicked in the front door of a dentist’s office in the 5700 block of Northeast Bothell Way. Nothing was missing, but the office was ransacked and police reported they feel the perpetrator was looking for drugs.

Sept. 25

Vandalism

A suspect found himself booked into King County Jail, facing at least one count of vandalism in connection with some graffiti, which allegedly appeared on the back of the Safeway store on Northeast Bothell Way. Reports said officers allegedly found the same tag left on the store on the suspect’s MySpace page.

Drug charge

A female student at Inglemoor High may face misdemeanor possession charges after allegedly being caught at the school with an unspecified amount of marijuana.
