DUI

Police arrested a woman, 25, for DUI after first stopping her for having no operating head or tail lights. The arrest was made near the intersection of State Route 527 and 228th Street Southeast.

Commercial burglary

Thieves made off with golf equipment, a TV and a computer after breaking into a business in the 16700 block of 96th Avenue Northeast. Total value of the missing items was given as just over $5,000. The name of the business was not released. Police said the method of entry wasn’t clear, but may have been an open window.

Residential burglary

According to police, the suspect may have used stolen keys to gain entry into an apartment in the 10300 block of Northeast 189th Street. That suspect left with a laptop computer and jewelry valued at about $880.

Theft from vehicle

A laptop computer, portable DVD player and some personal items were missing after someone smashed a window to gain entry into a car parked in a lot in 11900 block of Northeast 195th Street. The stolen items were valued at $650.

Residential burglary

Cash and a pair of prescription glasses — total value about $315 — were stolen from a home in the 9200 block of Northeast 184th Place. The suspects sliced a screen and entered the home through an open window, according to reports.

Residential burglary

According to police reports, a neighbor saw the suspects pull their car into the victim’s driveway, while one of them got out and knocked on the front door. The male suspect then reportedly ran around to the back of the house.

Again, according to reports, the neighbor confronted those remaining in the car and they left. The victim returned home sometime late to find a jewelry box missing and some papers thrown around his house. The victim told police the stolen items weren’t worth much.

Assault

According to reports, the suspect and his wife are in the process of a divorce and became involved in some sort of argument.

Police allege the man threw a beer bottle at his wife and he was arrested for fourth-degree assault.

Reports did not mention any injuries. The incident took place at business on Northeast 170th Street.

Residential burglary

The victim claimed she was alone with a young infant when she heard someone knock on an interior door of her apartment. She also reported hearing a cell phone ring and the foot steps of someone wondering around her home.

The suspect apparently entered and left through a back door. Nothing was stolen. The incident reportedly took place in the 15900 block of 76th Place Northeast.
