Assault

A man, 56, was charged with fourth-degree assault after he allegedly hit and shoved a woman, 32, in what police identified only as a “meeting hall” on East Riverside Drive. The pair did not know each other and public records gave no reason for any dispute between them.

Nov. 28

Residential burglary

The above is how the incident was listed in police logs. What it involved was the swiping of a key left in the front door of a home in the 23000 block of 115th Avenue Southeast.

Theft

Mail was stolen from a residential mailbox at a home in the 300 block of 234th Place Southwest. Reports don’t attach a value to the stolen items, but describe a suspect as a woman in her 40s.

Theft from motor vehicle

Valued at $100, a purse was stolen from a car left parked overnight in a lot in the 12000 block of Woodinville Drive. The suspect broke out a window to gain access to the car.

Police said they found multiple taggings on the walls of the Burke-Gilman trail underpass at 68th Avenue Northeast.

Recovery of stolen vehicle

Reports didn’t give many details, but said officers found a car stolen from Mercer Island abandoned in the Kenmore Park and Ride on Northeast Bothell Way.

Nov. 27

Driving without a license

Police said they have now stopped the same man for the same alleged crime three times in 30 days. The latest arrest took place on Northeast Bothell Way. All in all, reports allege the suspect has been caught driving illegally five times since June 2008.
