Residential burglary

For whatever reason, nothing was stolen after would-be thieves forced open a front door to a condominium in the 900 block of Northeast 180th Street. Police said the perpetrators did about $250 in damage.

Vehicle theft

A 2006 Ford F450 was stolen from the lot of an apartment complex in the 1000 block of 228th Street Southeast.

The truck was recovered by the Skagit County Sheriff’s Department near Lake Canaugh. The condition of the vehicle was not given in reports.

Vehicle theft

A 1991 Acura Legend valued at $2,000 was stolen from the 10000 block of 126th Avenue Northeast. The car was recovered by the King County Sheriff’s department.

According to reports, the vehicle had suffered “some damage,” but police did not have access to any specifics.

Theft from vehicle

Someone smashed the front passenger window to gain access to a car parked in the 1000 block of 228th Street Southeast. They stole a backpack filled with school supplies. Total value of the missing items was given as $190.

Feb. 1

Malicious mischief

A man was arrested after allegedly being spotted hiding beneath a car on a closed car sales lot in the 8000 block of Northeast 183rd Street.

Reports said the suspect allegedly was carrying criminal tools. He was charged with malicious mischief and booked into the King County Jail.

Jan. 30

Assault

Described by police as intoxicated, a woman — age not given in reports — was charged with fourth-degree assault after allegedly punching her son, 17, “several times” in the face. The incident took place at a residence.

Jan. 29

Disturbance

A man, age not given, was allegedly found in the Kenmore Park and Ride on Northeast Bothell Way, according to police, with his pants pulled down and striking passing cars with his belt.

Reports say he was evaluated by paramedics at the scene and taken to Evergreen Hospital for treatment for intoxication. No charges were reported.
