Theft from vehicle

Two speakers and an amplifier disappeared from a car parked in the lot of an apartment complex in the 3000 block of 243rd Place Southeast. Reports did not list the value of the items.

Persons unknown made off with $550 in cables and extension cords from a construction site along State Route 522. Public reports contained no further details.

Commercial burglary

Thieves cut through the padlock on a door at an unidentified storage business on 228th Street Southeast. Police said the items stolen included $150 in Christmas lights.

Theft from vehicle

Someone smashed out the passenger’s side window of a car parked in a residential driveway in the 19000 block of 93rd Place Northeast. They stole an MP3 player valued at $300.

Theft

The suspect was described as a white male, about 5-foot-10 with brown hair. He allegedly cut the catalytic converter from a car parked on a lot in the 1000 block of SR 522. According to police reports, repairs to the vehicle have been estimated to cost $1,900.

Residential burglary

A laptop computer, a hard drive, a camera, jewelry and cash disappeared from a home in the 24000 block of State Route 527. No value was given. The suspects entered the home through an unlocked front door.

Residential burglary

Thieves made off with items totaling $1,300 from an attached garage at a residence in the 1500 block of 74th Avenue Northeast. The stolen goods included a washing machine.

Theft

A bicycle was stolen from a garage in the 1800 block of 60th Avenue Northeast. No value was given.

Residential burglary

Police didn’t list what items were taken, but said someone forced open a back door to gain entry to a home on Northeast 191st Street.

Possession

A suspect stopped in the 16300 block of Juanita Drive for speeding ended up under arrest for possession of marijuana. Reports did not readily contain any further details.
