Theft from vehicle

As an example of what seems to be a popular crime, someone removed the catalytic converter from a car parked in the lot of an unidentified business in the 18000 block of 120th Avenue Northeast. Estimated cost of the theft: $500.

Jan. 31

Theft from vehicle

Persons unknown removed the catalytic converter from a car parked in the lot of an unidentified business in the 19000 block of 120th Avenue Northeast. The item and the damage done was estimated at $1,500.

Car theft

A maroon Mercury, make not given in police reports, was stolen from the 18000 block of Ross Road. The car had been parked in a residential garage. The vehicle has not been recovered. Its value was not clear from reports.

Jan. 29

Residential burglary

Someone broke into a home in the 20000 block of 29th Avenue Southeast, making off with a computer and jewelry valued at $500. Reports didn’t state how entry was gained into the home.

Car theft

A 2000 Honda Civic was stolen from a residential driveway in the 500 block of 220th Street Southwest. Valued at $6,000, the car later was recovered by the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Theft from vehicle

A catalytic converter this time was removed from a car parked in an unidentified business in the 20000 block of North Creek Parkway. The value of the theft and damage done was given as $1,500.

Theft from vehicle

Someone broke out a window on a car parked in the lot of an unidentified business in the 12600 block of Northeast 187th Street making off with a GPS valued at about $100.

Theft

Described as a male, about 6 feet tall, the suspect left a business in the 11000 block of Northeast 195th Street with $100 in clothing.

Vandalism

Using white spray paint, someone painted the word “deathbox” on a ramp at the city skateboard park.

Feb. 3

Residential burglary

Someone unknown broke into a vacant mobile home in the 7000 block of Northeast 175th Street. They left with faucets, light fixtures and similar items. The total value of the stolen goods was not given in police reports.

Feb. 2

Suspicious package

What reports described as a suspicious package was left at the door to a bank office in the 6400 block of Northeast Bothell Way. While public reports lacked some details, police investigated the package and found it contained some type of uniforms.

An iPod player was taken after someone broke out the window on a car parked in a residential lot in the 1900 block of 68th Avenue Northeast.
