Theft

Information released by police was sketchy, but someone made off with a ring valued at $4,670 from a home in the 23000 block of 42nd Avenue Southeast. Reports did not mention any forced entry into the home and no suspects were listed.

Residential burglary

According to police, nothing was taken when unknown suspects entered a home on Fourth Avenue Southeast. Reports say the would-be burglars entered through an open front door. It is unclear why nothing was taken or if the residents were home at the time of the incident.

Theft from vehicle

An iPod, cell phone and a GPS navigation unit were among the approximately $1,880 worth of items stolen from a car parked in a residential driveway in the 22000 block of Fifth Place West. The car was reportedly not locked.

Hit-and-run

Police reports don’t say how much damage was done to any public property, but someone driving a green Toyota Tacoma struck a pole in the 22000 block of 20th Avenue Southeast. The driver apparently fled after the incident and no arrests were made. Reports don’t say how police were able to determine the description of the car involved in the accident.
