Assault, domestic violence

Police arrested a woman, 25, for fourth-degree assault after an alleged altercation with a male, also 25, at a home on 108th Avenue. Reports said the relationship between the two was unclear, but said the male suffered bruises and scratches because of the incident.

Theft from vehicle

Someone shattered a window in a car left parked overnight in a residential lot in the 19000 block of 93rd Place Northeast. The suspects swiped the victim’s purse and did about $250 in damage to the car.

Theft from vehicle

Costume jewelry valued at $50 was taken when persons unknown broke into a car parked overnight on the street in the 24000 block of Fourth Place West. The car may have been left unlocked.

Residential burglary

Clothing, luggage and drums are the items listed as missing after someone broke into the storage unit attached to an apartment in the 23000 block of State Roue 527. The items were valued at $1,000.

Aggravated assault

Police investigated a possible case of assault/domestic violence at a home on Northeast 147th Place. The female victim was allegedly strangled by a male assailant, who police said then ripped out a phone cord in the home so the woman could not call police. Reports were not clear as to whether any charges were filed.

Car theft

A vehicle — make and model not readily available from reports — was stolen overnight from the Timbers apartment complex on 68th Avenue Northeast.

Commercial burglary

Persons unknown pried open a back door to a business in the 17000 block of 68th Avenue Northeast. They left with an unspecified number of computers.

Residential burglary

According to police, the incident was reported on this date, but may have happened anytime in the three weeks prior. The suspects pried open a kitchen window on a home in the 18000 block of 73rd Avenue Northeast and made off with an unspecified amount in cash and jewelry.
