June 9

Theft

A Bothell school student, 16, had an iPod stolen from an unsecured tote bag. The school was not identified in police reports, but officials said the incident took place in the 16300 block of 112th Avenue Northeast.

June 7

Theft from vehicle

Someone broke out the right rear passenger window of a car left in a parking lot in the 18000 block of State Route 522. A purse, containing miscellaneous items, was stolen from the vehicle. Value of those items was given as $550.

Car theft

A 2000 Honda CBR600 motorcycle was taken from the 12700 block of Northeast 180 Street. The motorcycle was apparently parked at an apartment complex. The vehicle has not been recovered.

June 4

Hit and run

A 1992 Subaru suffered unspecified damages when it was struck by a hit-and-run driver. Police said the Subaru was legally parked in the 21000 block of State Route 527. The car was unoccupied at the time it was hit and police did not report having any suspects.

June 3

Hit and run

A 1998 Toyota Camry suffered unspecified damages with it became the first vehicle struck recently struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 21000 block of SR 527. Police said the car was legally parked in a lot at the time of the incident. The car was apparently unoccupied and police did not report having any suspects.

KENMORE

June 8

Car theft

The theft was discovered on this date, but a Mazda 6 was stolen from the parking lot of Bastyr University over the previous weekend. The value of the car was not readily available.

June 7

Residential burglary

Persons unknown broke into a home in the 20000 block of 80th Avenue Northeast. The suspect(s) also busted into a work van. They stole an undetermined number of tools. The home’s residents were asleep at the time of the theft.

June 5

Assault/theft

According to reports, two suspects tried to shoplift some $70 in items from the Grocery Outlet store in Kenmore Village. A male and a female, the suspects were stopped outside the store by the owner/manager.

Police said the female manager got into an altercation with the male suspect, who allegedly struck the manager with his jacket. The victim was not injured and apparently recovered the stolen merchandise — headphones and razors — which she told police she had watched the suspects shove into his jacket and a backpack.

The suspects were gone by the time police arrived on the scene.

Car theft

A Ford F250 pick up was stolen from the 18000 block of 80th Avenue Northeast. The value of the brown-and-white vehicle was not readily available.
