Recruitment opens for new members of Kenmore Planning Commission

The Kenmore City Council is seeking dedicated Kenmore citizens interested in serving on the Planning Commission.

The Kenmore City Council is seeking dedicated Kenmore citizens interested in serving on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission provides guidance and recommendations to the City Council on policy matters relative to the amendment of the city’s comprehensive plan and related land use regulations.

The Planning Commission consists of seven members. The members serve a three-year term. All members are appointed by and serve at the pleasure of a majority of the Kenmore City Council. Board members serve without compensation. Planning Commission meetings are typically held the first and third Tuesday of each month.

Positions are open to all citizens residing within the Kenmore city limits. Applicants with a variety of skills, interests and experience are encouraged to apply. To be considered for appointment, please submit a completed application form before 5 p.m. on Dec. 29.
