The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Seattle/King County is encouraging recycling of clothing, furniture, household items and books computers, monitors, laptops and televisions (under 27 inches) at local St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores as part of World Environment Day June 5.

The goal of World Environment Day is to encourage people to protect the planet by using less and acting more. This year’s theme for World Environment Day is “Many Species. One Planet. One Future.”
