To prepare for tunneling under the Bothell Everett Highway (SR 527) later this year, King County’s contractor will be working on 214th Street Southeast in Bothell at a number of locations this month.

Daytime work will begin this week. Crews will work daytime hours for several weeks on 214th St. Southeast on both sides of the SR 527. Daytime work hours will be before and after the main commute hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Night work will begin Tuesday evening and go through mid-September. Crews will work overnight to install de-watering wells at locations on both sides of SR 527. Nighttime work hours will be from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Crews will be working to the east of SR 527 in front of the Pacific Medical Building on 214th Street Southeast and to the west of SR 527 on 214th Street Southeast.
