State Sen. Rosemary McAuliffe has opened a legislative district office right in the heart of downtown Bothell. This new location provides a unique opportunity for people to stop in and have direct contact with their state representative.

“It is my job to fairly represent all of the people of the 1st District,” said McAuliffe. “My office keeps an open door policy and I encourage anyone to stop by and share their priorities so that I can better represent them when I return to Olympia.”

McAuliffe represents the 1st legislative district which straddles both King and Snohomish County. The district is home to Bothell, Mountlake Terrace, Brier, a large part of rural Snohomish County, and parts of Kirkland and Lynnwood.

“Downtown Bothell is home to the University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia Community College. Having an office that is  located in a growing community and college town provides a unique opportunity to engage people in the legislative process,” said McAuliffe.

The ranking member on the Senate Early Learning & K-12 Committee and a member of the Higher Education Committee, McAuliffe has represented the 1st Legislative District since 1992.

McAuliffe’s new district office address is 18516 101st St., Suite 4, Bothell, WA 98011. For reference, it is just down the street from the Bothell Police Department.
