The Shoreline Master Program hearing will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Northshore Utility District, 6830 N.E. 185th St., Kenmore. Draft goals, policies and regulations for shoreline areas are the result of more than a year of work by the Planning Commission and the Shoreline Citizen Advisory Committee. Shoreline areas regulated by the Shoreline Master Program include land within 200 feet of Lake Washington, the lower reaches of the Sammamish River, the main stem of Swamp Creek and floodplains and associated wetlands. Additional information is available on the city’s Web site at www.cityofkenmore.com/shoreline.
