Each week-long summer camp provides participants with an outdoor experience that focuses on the natural world and natural sciences.

Sean Chapman will attend the Olympic Coast Hiking camp, exploring the Olympic rainforest, hiking the ocean beach and exploring tide pools.

Sarah Kenison will participate in the Extreme Ecosystems camping and river rafting trip in Eastern Washington, which includes surveying a forest canopy, beachcomb, trek through desert sand, and exploring local habitats.

Corrina Lee will attend the “Get Your Green On!”, another camping and river rafting expedition in Eastern Washington. This camp emphasizes ways to live sustainably, and campers will investigate resource management and visit a wind farm.

Eastside Audubon is the East King County chapter of the National Audubon that protects and restores habitat for birds and advocates for birds in the community. The organization also gives educational programs in schools and provides youth scholarships for summer camp.
