A felony arrest warrant was issued today for Kevin Scott Miller, a 45 year-old transient Level III sex offender who recently entered the United States from Canada. Miller is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender with Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office detectives.

Miller was convicted of two counts of aggravated sexual assault in Canada, where there is a non-extraditable warrant for his arrest. Because of his previous convictions, Miller is required to register as a sex offender and regularly report in to local law enforcement. According to Sheriff’s Office detectives Miller failed to report in with them as required on June 17 and June 24.

Miller told detectives he is homeless, but has recently been seen in Arlington and Marysville. He is 6-feet tall, weighing 175 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information about Miller’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.

In 1995, Miller was accused of picking up a 14 year-old girl who was walking down a road and attempting to strangle her with a rope and sexually assaulting her. In a second incident that same year, he befriended an adult woman he met in a nightclub, took her into a secluded area, attempted to strangle her with a rope, and physically assaulted the woman.  Additional information about Miller can be found on the Sheriff’s Office “Offender Search” page.
