Southbound I-405 reduced to one lane in Bothell and Kirkland area overnight Friday

Nighttime drivers on southbound Interstate 405 near Bothell and north Kirkland should plan ahead for possible delays overnight Friday. Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will reduce the roadway to a single lane to complete paving work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.

Nighttime drivers on southbound Interstate 405 near Bothell and north Kirkland should plan ahead for possible delays overnight Friday. Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will reduce the roadway to a single lane to complete paving work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.

Friday, Aug. 8 to the morning of Saturday, Aug. 9:

  • Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between State Route 522 and Northeast 132nd Street will close starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Two lanes will close at 9:30 p.m., and three lanes will close at 11:30 p.m. One lane will open by 5:30 a.m. and all lanes by 7 a.m. Saturday.
