Speeders beware: Slow Down or Pay Up continues this weekend

For a second weekend, extra patrols will be out to catch speeders in King county through The Slow Down or Pay Up campaign. Developed by the Washington Traffic Safety Commission and local law enforcement, the program is the first statewide enforcement campaign to catch speeders in Washington. From 2004 to 2008, speeding was a critical factor in 40 percent of all traffic fatalities in the state.
