Jan. 28

A hit-and-run occurred near 160th Street Northeast and Juanita-Woodinville Drive. One vehicle was entering the intersection during a red light when it was struck from the side by a second vehicle. The first vehicle did not stop.

Jan. 31

A reporting person contacted authorities about a suspicious female rummaging through mailboxes. Authorities stopped the female and found her in possession of multiple victims mail, she was arrested and charges are pending.

A suspect was driving a vehicle near Maltby Road at a high rate of speed when they passed a police officer. As the officer followed the car, they noticed erratic driving. Upon investigation, the driver was found to be driving under the influence (DUI) and was arrested.

Feb. 1

Two vehicles were involved in a collision at an intersection along Highway 527. Upon arrival at the scene, officers noticed one driver smelled of alcohol and, after an investigation, the driver was arrested for DUI.

Feb. 2

An officer responded to reports of a vehicle stopped, with the engine running, in the middle of the 103rd Avenue Northeast. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody for investigation of a DUI.

A person reported an unoccupied vehicle in the trees. The vehicle smelled of alcohol, but there was no driver present. Officers have attempted to contact the driver but have, so far, been un able to. The investigation is still ongoing.

A repair man found a victim’s satellite dish had been removed. The victim, a commercial business near Main Street, reported that unknown suspects attempted to gain entry to the business but were unable to. A door frame to the business was broken.
