Each year thousands of residents attend events organized by the city of Kenmore. Join in the fun by watching the spectacular fireworks show over Lake Washington, attending a concert in the park, learning about the police department and joining in a day of organized play.


Fourth of July Fireworks Show

Celebrate the Fourth of July with a spectacular fireworks show over Lake Washington in Kenmore. The fireworks display blasts off at 10 p.m. at Log Boom Park. Arrive early and enjoy park facilities, music, and other activities starting at 8 p.m.

Spectators are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and flashlight. Parking is available at designated local businesses.

Please note that the Log Boom Park pier will be closed on July 4 for the preparation of the fireworks show. As a reminder, personal fireworks are prohibited in Kenmore city limits.

 

Kenmore Summer Concert Series

The City invites the community to attend the 11th annual Summer Concert Series. These free, popular community events run for six consecutive Thursdays starting July 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Saint Edward State Park, 14445 Juanita Drive NE. Parking for the concert is free.

The open stage at Saint Edward State Park is an ideal location to relax and enjoy a casual evening surrounded by the park’s natural beauty. Visitors are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic dinners to share a special summer night under the open sky. Food vendors will be on-site. Alcohol is not permitted. Pets are allowed but must be leashed at all times. All concerts are free and open to the public.

National Night Out Against Crime

Join the Kenmore Police Department for the annual National Night Out Against Crime event from 6-9 p.m. on Aug. 6 at Kenmore City Hall. The event includes free food, home and personal safety information and activities.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals, letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Kenmore City Hall is located at 18120 68th Ave. N.E.

 

Kenmore Play Day

Get outdoors and play at the annual Kenmore Play Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 10 at Rhododendron Park. There will be free food and lots of activities for children. Details will be available on the city’s website closer to the event.
