No fireworks on buses

Community Transit reminds passengers that fireworks are not allowed on the agency’s buses or at any agency property, including transit centers and park and ride lots.

While Community Transit buses operate near fireworks stands, riders cannot carry the fireworks onto buses at any time. Even the “safe and sane” fireworks sold in some communities can be a safety hazard. Community Transit also does not allow other potentially dangerous material, including:

· Gasoline, diesel or propane, or containers that once carried these fuels

· Hazardous chemicals

· Explosives

· Illegal weapons
