Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure comes to Seattle, cheering station in Bothell

The sidewalks of Seattle will soon be filled with passion, perseverance and pink when the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure, presented by Energizer, visits the area Sept. 24-26.

Residents are encouraged to visit designated sites to celebrate Komen 3-Day for the Cure participants’ accomplishments. These individuals spend months training for the event’s physical demands and fund-raising at least $2,300 to fund life-saving research and community programs supporting education, screening and treatment. All of the participants’ dedication and preparation culminates by walking 60 miles over the course of three days.

A Bothell public cheering station will be set up from 8:45 a.m. to noon Sept. 24 at Red Robin, 21215 Bothell-Everett Highway.
