April 7

Suspects left a restaurant on Highway 527 without paying the $6.55 bill. No arrests have been made.

A person was arrested, near the intersection of Campus Way Northeast and 522, after a traffic collision investigation found they were driving under the influence of alcohol.

A residential burglary was reported near 242nd Street Southeast. A suspect entered the home by breaking a glass door and then stole a laptop. Total value of items and damages is estimated at around $1,000.

April 8

A commercial location near 222nd Street Southeast was reportedly broken into. The investigation is currently active.

A victim, residing near 92nd Place Northeast, reported their social security number has been used to file a fraudulent tax return.

A person, residing near 84th Place Northeast, reported their social security number had been used to file a fraudulent tax return.

Authorities were contacted after a possible shoplifting incident, along 527, though the suspects were gone when police arrived. It is unknown if any items were taken.

A person, residing along 7th Avenue West, reported their identity had been used to file a fraudulent tax return.

A hit-and-run occurred near Northeast 180th Street. The vehicle’s owner returned to their car, parked in a parking lot, and noticed damage to the vehicle.

April 9

A person reported the theft of a $249 textbook from Campus Way Northeast. The suspect was arrested and charged.

A victim noticed their wallet was missing and they were unable to locate it along Highway 527. The wallet was worth $20 and had $50 in cash inside.

A person discovered fraudulent charges, amounting to $1,000, on their credit card statement.

A victim reported their vehicle had been stolen from a store parking lot near Highway 527. The vehicle is valued at around $7,000.

A victim discovered a Sprint account had been opened in his name resulting in a loss of $1,340.

April 10

A citizen reported a telephone scam where the caller claimed to be PUD. The caller threatened to turn of the power at the residence and the victim paid, and lost, approximately $1,500.

A residence, located along 243rd Place Southeast, was reportedly burglarized. The suspect entered through a window, damaging the screen, and stole gaming equipment and household items, valued at approximately $550.

April 11

A person was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol after officers observed erratic driving along 522. The motorist was arrested for DUI.

An elderly female, residing near Northeast 167th Street, died in her home of natural causes.

A person near 103rd Avenue Northeast, reported a burglary. The front door was pried open and the house was ransacked. Approximately $25 in cash was stolen.

April 12

Officers observed a person erratically driving along Interstate 405 near exit 29 and arrested the driver for driving under the influence.

Gunshots were heard near 1st Place West, after a male accidentally discharged his handgun in his residence while preparing to clean the weapon. The owner sustained injury to his finger.

A theft was reported near Highway 527.

April 13

A theft was reported along 234th Street Southeast.

A commercial burglary was reported along highway 527. The suspects entered the business through the drywall to an adjoining, empty office space. Approximately $40 in soda was stolen.

A victim reported discovering fraudulent charges in the amount of $45 on their credit card.

A person reported someone used his ID to pay for shipping charges, the amount of which is unknown.

A victim’s social security number was used to file a fraudulent tax return.

A person reported their bicycle, worth approximately $1,000, was stolen near Campus Way Northeast.

Suspects stole approximately $250 worth of camping equipment from a store along Highway 527.
