King County residents still have time to register to vote. If you are not currently registered to vote in Washington, visit the King County Elections office to register by 4:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at 9010 E. Marginal Way S. in Tukwila.
“There are a number of critical ballot measures in this election, along with the many candidate races,” said Sherril Huff, elections director.
Primary-election ballots must be postmarked, or returned to a ballot drop box or accessible voting center, by election day, Aug. 17. Registered voters who have not received a ballot, or need a replacement, should call the voter hotline at (206) 296-VOTE (8683).

To be eligible to vote, you must be 18 years old by Aug. 17, a United States citizen and a legal resident of the state of Washington.
