There is still time to register to vote

King County residents still have time to register to vote. If you are not currently registered to vote in Washington, visit the King County Elections office to register by 4:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at 9010 E. Marginal Way S. in Tukwila.

“There are a number of critical ballot measures in this election, along with the many candidate races,” said Sherril Huff, elections director.

Primary-election ballots must be postmarked, or returned to a ballot drop box or accessible voting center, by election day, Aug. 17. Registered voters who have not received a ballot, or need a replacement, should call the voter hotline at (206) 296-VOTE (8683).
