May 5

Officers arrived at the scene of a disturbance along 228th Place Southeast after a report of threats was made. One subject was arrested for obstruction and resisting arrest.

A driver was traveling along 9th Avenue Southeast in a school zone and was pulled over for speeding. The driver was cited for speeding in a school zone, operating a vehicle without insurance and driving with a suspended license in the first degree.

A victim near 233rd Street Southeast reported unauthorized charges on their credit card. The identity theft totaled $9.52.

A person near 96th Avenue Northeast reported the theft of a cell phone valued at $30.

May 6

Officers noticed a broken tail light on a vehicle traveling along Main Street near State Route (SR) 527, the vehicle also changed lanes without signaling while speeding. Upon traffic stop, authorities found the driver to be driving under the influence (DUI) of a substance and in possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was arrested.

Two suspects attempted to shoplift three, 40 oz. bottles of Old English 800s from a grocery store along SR 527. They were unsuccessful and were arrested.

A victim reported the theft of a laptop, of unknown value, along Campus Way Northeast on UW Bothell/Cascadia campus.

A person reported a vehicle-on-vehicle hit and run in a parking lot along the Monte Villa Parkway.

A husband reported being physically assaulted by his wife, near Bothell Way Northeast,there were no visible injuries, no reports of drugs or alcohol involved and no charges filed.

A welfare check was initiated for a resident near the 4700 block of 30th Ave. NE after it was reported that the person was involved in a domestic assault that occurred in another jurisdiction.

May 8

A business owner along Highway 522 reported being harassed on the phone from a customer whose vehicle had repossessed for delinquent payments.

Authorities contacted the customer, who will work on the issue through civil court rather than harassing calls.

A person near Highway 522 reported the violation of a court order. The matter is currently under active investigation.

May 9

Officers observed a driver along the 20100 block of SR 527 make a left hand turn from a no-left turn lane and driving erratically. The driver was stopped and arrested for DUI.

A person reported a verbal domestic argument near 5th Place Northeast between a husband and wife. No arrests were made.

A victim near Northeast 183rd Street reported fraudulent charges on their credit card totaling around €1,400 (euros).

A person reported their motor vehicle had been stolen from their location, near Northeast 195th Street. The vehicle, valued at $2,000, was recovered by Renton PD the same day, however the windows were shattered, the VIN plate was missing, the steering column was ripped off, the driver’s wheel and gear shift knob was gone as well as the lug nuts.

A store security officer, at a business along SR 527, reported a person shoplifting shoes valued at $70. Police arrived and arrested the suspect for theft in the third degree.

Two roommates, who had reportedly been drinking, got into an argument, about what they don’t remember, and assaulted one another. The victim reported head and face pain from being slapped and having their hair pulled. The suspect was arrested.

May 10

Officers reported a suspect eluding officers near Juanita-Woodinville Way Northeast. The case is under active investigation.

A domestic violence case was reported along Bothell Way NE.

May 11

A verbal argument occurred between a mother and daughter, near Bothell Way Northeast, no arrests were made.

A taxi cab driver reported an intoxicated passenger who was not able to provide a destination address. Officers were contacted by a relative who was able to give the driver an address, near NE 160th Street.

A person along 110th Place Northeast reported a fight. The incident is under active investigation.

May 12

A bomb threat was reported at Molina Health along 30th Drive Southeast. The incident was deescalated without incident and Molina does not plan to press charges.

A bicycle was stolen near 112th Avenue Northeast. The bike was valued at $500.

May 14

Officers observed a person driving erratically near 9100 block of Highway 522. After an investigation, the driver was arrested for DUI.

A person reported having their hand slapped by a cashier at a store along 116th Avenue Northeast following an attempted transaction. The cashier denies the incident happened and no further action is being taken.

A citizen reported a person driving erratically along SR 527. Authorities were able to locate the driver and also observed the person driving erratically. After an investigation, the subject was arrested for DUI.

A person reported that their estranged wife unlawfully entered his residence near Juanita-Woodinville Way Northeast. He did not want to press charges.

A person reported the theft of their front license place off their car, near 120th Avenue Northeast.

May 15

A domestic violence assault occurred near 119th Lane Northeast and is still under active investigation.

A citizen reported fraudulent activity on their credit report. A fraud alert has been placed on her credit.

May 16

A driver was pulled over for speeding, near 228th Street Southeast, and was arrested for DUI.

A homeowner near 101st Place Northeast reported the theft of his golf clubs, valued at around $900, from a garage that was left open.

May 17

A person near 17th Avenue Southesat reported a missing laptop, valued at $485, which may have been taken from her vehicle or hotel room.

A store security person, for a business along SR 527, reported a female shoplifting various items, valued at approximately $47. The female got into a vehicle, driven by a male who then drove off. Security was not able to get a license number before the vehicle took off.

A wife reported that her husband had pushed her and sprayed Febreeze in her face after a verbal altercation near 224th Street Southwest. There has been no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved. The husband was arrested for assault and domestic violence.

A driver was stopped for speeding along Filbert Road and was arrested for DUI.
