Drivers should expect long delays along State Route 527 and 228th Street Southeast in the Canyon Park area of Bothell from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Sunday. In order to upgrade the traffic signals at the intersection, the signals will be turned off and traffic will be directed by police. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes wherever possible. This project is part of the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) project, a citywide effort to improve transportation system efficiency, safety and reliability in Bothell.
