Two Kenmore residents, a 35-year-old female and a 45-year-old male, were arrested in the sweep at their home in the 16300 block of Inglewood Pl NE in Kenmore.

The warrants are the results of a 12-month investigation into an organized crime ring involved in money laundering and the illegal manufacturing and unlicensed distribution of marijuana. Six suspects were arrested and booked into jail.

Detectives seized over $980,000 in cash, five homes and 10 vehicles that were purchased with illegal drug proceeds. More than 2,000 marijuana plants and several hundred pounds of processed marijuana were located during the searches.

The primary suspect is the female from Kenmore, who is suspected of operating a warehouse in Marysville and several other locations in King and Snohomish County.
