Unknown suspect steals two or three kayaks from Squires Landing Park | Kenmore police blotter for July 17 – July 23

Sunday, July 23

Theft: An unknown suspect drove a truck around the gate of a fenced-in boat launch in Squires Landing Park and stole two (possibly three) kayaks.

Saturday, July 22

Prowling: A vehicle prowler broke into a car on the 6700 block of Northeast 182nd St. The prowler bent the passenger-side window of the victim’s vehicle before they were caught by the victim. The prowler fled without stealing anything.

Assault: A physical altercation broke out between a husband and wife on the 7300 block of 175th St. The wife was arrested for domestic violence as the husband had minor cuts, scratches and redness over his body.

Trespass: Two unnamed suspects entered the Northshore Utility District lobby through an unlocked door and set off the alarm, while looking for a bathroom at 4:32 a.m.

Friday, July 21

Bomb/Suspicious Package: The reporting party called 911 after spotting a suspicious device with wires sticking out and a flashing light near her parking space on the 16700 block of Juanita Drive Northeast. The device was determined to be a broken kids sword.

Illegal Dumping: Residents reported an unauthorized person dumping their trash in a community trash bin on the 8000 block of Northeast 177 Court.

Thursday, July 20

Stalking/Harassment: A Bastyr University student reported they were being harassed by a student living in the same dorm.

Controlled Substance Violation: An unnamed suspect was contacted after leaving the scene of his own car accident on the corner of Northeast 192nd Place and 65th Place Northeast. They were found in possession of XANAX pills.

Wednesday, July 19

Controlled Substance Violation: An unnamed suspect was caught in possession of methamphetamine om the 16000 block of 81st Place Northeast.

Tuesday, July 18

Theft: An unnamed suspect was arrested for stealing from the Kenmore Rite Aid.

Monday, July 17

Suspicious Persons: A reporting party called 911 after seeing a man on a bike jump her neighbors fence from behind bushes. The neighbor wasn’t home at the time.
