Both Legislative Districts 1 and 32 have incumbent candidates running unopposed in the Nov. 4 general election.

In District 1, which includes Kenmore, neither state representative has any competition.

In Position 1, Democratic State Rep. Al O’Brien, 64, will be entering his sixth term in office.

Also unopposed, State Rep. Mark Ericks, Position 2, has been serving in Olympia since 2005. Ericks, 57, is also a Democrat.

Bothell is included in state District 32. State Rep. Ruth Kagi, Position 2, and yet another Democrat, will be entering her fifth term in office. Voters first sent Kagi, 63, to the state house in 1998.
